What it is
A custom keyboard extension for iPhone and iPad, together with a companion app that holds the keyboard's settings, its help pages and its privacy policy. Once installed, the keyboard can be selected from the standard iOS keyboard switcher and used in any app that accepts text.
The goal is a keyboard that is quick and predictable for everyday typing, and that does not require you to hand over your typing in exchange for it.
Design commitments
These are constraints we are building to, not features we are claiming to have shipped. They are stated here because they shape what the product can and cannot become, and because the same commitments appear in the app's privacy policy.
Full Access stays off
iOS asks whether a keyboard may have "Full Access". Ours is designed to be completely usable with that permission switched off, which is the default. Nothing about the core typing experience is withheld to pressure you into granting it.
No network required
The keyboard is designed to work with no network connection at all — in airplane mode, on a flight, on a phone with no SIM. There is no cloud dictionary you must reach in order to type.
Typing is not a data source
What you type is used to do the thing you are typing — insert characters, offer a correction — and for nothing else. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent data to anyone.
Stays inside its lane
The keyboard provides the standard way to switch back to another keyboard, does not redefine what the standard keys do, and does not open other applications on your behalf.

What is not on this page
There are no screenshots, no App Store link, no version number and no user numbers here, because the application has not been released and none of those things exist yet. We would rather this page be thin and accurate than complete and invented. It will be filled in as the product actually reaches each stage.
